On January 7, 2022, she announced an indefinite break starting from February of the same year and was expected to return as early as April 2022. On October 3, 2022, it was reported that she would end her activities as Ruka Inaba, although she had been aiming to return.
On April 24, 2023, she updated her Twitter to announce the resumption of her Twitter and Instagram. On June 1st of the same year, she tweeted that she was worried about her return due to the new AV law, which became a hot topic.
