Miho Abe’s Latest Photo Book Marks a Career First in Full-Frontal Nude Poses

Veteran Japanese gravure model Miho Abe has unveiled her first hair nude (full-frontal nude) photo book.

Now 37 and originally from Hokkaido, Abe works as a freelancer. She began her career in 2007 and has changed professional names a few times since then. While she has posed nude before—including a notable shoot in 2018—this marks her debut in full-frontal photography. The release is a welcome development, not only because Abe is a stunning jukujo with a mature allure, but also because it signals a hopeful resurgence of the hair nude genre. Apart from rare figures like Yuka Someya and Biru Otsuka, few models or actresses have embraced what was once a hugely popular style of photo book.

Titled Heaven’s Wind and published by Kodansha on April 5, the book is Abe’s second photo collection. It features an array of sensuous images highlighting her soft pale skin, graceful curves, beautiful breasts, and meticulously groomed pubic hair. The photos were taken by seasoned photographer Koki Nishida.

At a press event, Abe shared that she chose to do another nude shoot to help fund the construction of a family grave.

Beyond her gravure work, Miho Abe has also been active in wrestling since 2015, which has helped sustain her fanbase. Her popularity is further supported by consistent DVD releases. Female wrestlers enjoy strong followings in Japan, and some also participate in nude shoots or appear in erotic cinema.
